Another feature which we will consider for our Empire magazine is a features block which includes images. By having this it will make the magazine appeal to more, as they may see an image including their favourite actor in a new film, rather than just the films title written which they may have never heard of. This block can be presented in different ways. For example, slanted like this with extra text underneath or it could be slanted nearer to the bottom of the magazine, but also it could be straight across the magazine cover, like the 'Blockbuster Issue' next to the Sherlock Holmes 2' cover.
Another feature which differs from the use of a features block with images is by including a + sign with writing to show extra features. This works better on some of the covers as the main image takes up too much of the cover, meaning other images will cause the main feature to look smaller and not to be noticed.
