For our coursework we have decided on creating a horror film trailer. This is because of the fact that trailers are meant to excite and enthral the audience, meaning they will want to watch the film and we saw that horror trailers do this very well.
Even though this is only early on in the process of making our film, we have decided to produce a teaser instead of a trailer. With a trailer it’s longer and there’s always the risk of producing a product which looks like the beginning of a film, rather than a trailer. Teasers are more fast paced with a lot of short cuts, especially in horrors, so we think this would work well.
